On Saturday night I visited the junction between North Street and Wandsworth Road. Here I witnessed first hand a huge problem of traffic congestion, caused in the main it seems by cars parked on single yellow lines.
The situation was so bad that people were having to get out of their cars to direct traffic and at one point a moped came up on to the pavement and narrowly missed me.
I was videoing at the time and will be sharing this with the transport division at Lambeth council. Despite the video being very dark (it was around midnight) you can still get an idea how bad it is.
